TWO karateka from the Du Noon informal settlement have proven themselves good enough to represent South Africa at the Samurai Shukoki 2008 World ChampionÂships in Switzerland during July next year.
The only chance Banzi Mbawule (26) and Tommy Coloba (34) have of visiting that beautiful country to fight against the world’s best, however, would be with the support and sponsorship of the Table View and Milnerton communities.
“I don’t wish to hear about Switzerland, I want to see it. With a passion!â€, says Banzi, who has been training in karate for 15 years and holds a black belt. Currently doing maintenance work at a bakery, he has a dream to study mechanical engineering.
