Rural leaners gets technology lifeline from Pandor

Naledi Pandor, the education minister, is visiting Limpopo today to launch the Eric Moloto Foundation in the province which promotes science and technology education in rural areas. The launch will take place at the Senwabarwana Show Grounds in the Blouberg Municipality.

“The minister is pleased about the foundation and has decided to come and actually see what the work they are doing and also to encourage learners to actually take maths and science in greater number,” says Lunga Ngqengelele, the education spokesperson.

The initiative is expected to help to curb the skills shortage in the country.
