Fidentia’s R24m in UK bank ‘misplaced’

The curators of collapsed asset management company Fidentia have found just enough cash to pay towards the outstanding school fees of the thousands of orphans whose trust funds have been plundered.

Brown’s release follows a drawn-out dispute with the Scorpions over property initially offered as surety for the bail. The Scorpions rejected the offer of Brown’s luxury home at Sunset Beach near Table View as surety, claiming the house was purchased with illegal gains.
