Tags: No Tags.” An accused fraudster allegedly involved in the illegal production of credit cards worth millions of rands has been released on R10 000 bail.Mario de Oliveria, 24, and his partner Antoinette Pitkova, 25, appeared before Magistrate Mohamad Esau in the Cape Town magistrate’s court on Tuesday and faced 395 charges.
Police are investigating another 80 charges under the Electronic Communications and Transaction Act.
Pitkova, a Bulgarian who has a South African work permit, was released two weeks ago after the State decided it would not oppose bail.
The pair were arrested in a raid on their Table View home on December 28. The State alleged that they manufactured illegal credit cards at their home. “
