All these narrow minded people.

We all know you get biltong and you get great biltong !

To say the least Namaqualand Biltong is vragtig the best biltong we have tasted and i must add, the other comments regarding other biltong shops around should stock Namaqualand Biltong.

Theirs has been tasted by me and family and needless to say they have missed the boat when it comes to quality biltong.

Go to Fruit and veg they sell biltong cheep cheep / Taste the soapy taste, go to the others mentioned and taste for yourself.

Ja Nee, you do not know biltong until you have tasted Namaqualand biltong.

Now to all the negative biltong professionals that run down Namaqualand Biltong /////// GET A LIFE !

I have invested my life savings in Blaauwberg Beach Hotel and haven’t received a dividend since Oct 2009. Enquiries I submit to Realcorcape say their mail box is full. I am desperate to find out what is happenning please could you kindly investigate and publish an article because I am having sleepless nights worrying about my future I am 60 years old. I must agree with Andre re: famous kalahari biltong shop @ Westcoast Village…………….the best by far.

i must admit, that every time i go to the namaqualand biltong shop at the Spar centre, the woman who is usually there is quite unpleasant. And the prices are way more than West coast village shop.

my son loves the peri peri biltong from the Namaqualand so i am having to pop in there just for that and fortunately not for the service

I have tasted Namaqualand Biltong only once. I have also bought from Boesmandland and both products are average. I am a local from Melkbosstrand and I sought out a company called Kleynbegin. If you are really interested in a top quality product, that is realy tasty, you should give Kleynbegin’s Biltong and Droë Wors a try. They offer personal service and also free delivery. If there is a product that is realy outstanding, it is there Droë Wors and Chili Stix. And for at least R60 per kg cheaper than Boesmanland on all there products, it makes it even more worth while. Why dont you look then up and give it a try. You will not be sorry at all – like they say – LOCAL IS LEKKA.

i am sorry to say that i agree with the initial complaint. when we entered the store the lady behind the counter was rude and abrupt like she was doing us this huge favour just by helping us and to top it off the wors and biltong were swarmed with flies. the biltong shop in bayside next to checkers has far superior product.

People are living in fear because in appears that nation building priorities have switched from white nationalism to rainbow nationalism and finally black nationalism since Zuma did his AK47 song at an ANC ralley. After realizing that a president should appear to be more moderate, we had the birth of Malema doing the “kill the boer” and praising Mugabe (conveniently out of the country and stirring emations while ET was murdered). Malema telling the world that he is the future of SA. The silence from the ANC was deafening…..for 1 week until it looked like they may lose the bid for world bank finance of the power station. This is the start of nationalising state assets for self enrichment.

Now Malema has been iconized in the black nationalist minds and he has introduced one of his cronies to take over ANCYL. We live in the same country as foreigners. We have different values. “Shoot the boer” is not inciting violence? The black nation celebrated the death of ET.

Unfortunately the white middle class is incapable of uniting against black nationalist tendencies and the extreme behaviour it incites….in thugs. People who claim to be apolitical or not interested or don’t have time….well… you are allowing the nationalist extremists free reign. What good can you do alone? Not much, but the situation will only deteriorate if we don’t join forces against the rise of black nationalism. This is how Zimbabwe became the land of poverty and starvation it is today. We should be uniting and dealing with racist behaviour and crime at all levels of intensity. What will it take to get victims of nationalist behaviour to fight back. Overcoming fear of victimisation is a start. It is easier to stand as a group.

Ek stem saam met jou Marco. Daai winkel is vreeslik!!!! Ek sou so skaam gekry het as dit my plek was, dis net n jamerte mense sien dit nie als raak nie. Ek stem biltong is nie skoon nie, mar heng mens kan dit verbeter mos!!!!!! Biltong en Braai Mosselbaai Suck. Die eienaar, Brent Botha het geen respek vir sy werkers nie, uitbytend en skree op almal, sy vrou, kinders, werkers. Nee dankie. Jou biltong Brent is nie eers die moeite werd nie, en hou op mense uitbyt!!!

Having read about all the hype !

We were out in Blouberg over the weekend and decided to look up the Namaqualand Biltong Shop.

Well ! Let me add to all this hype !

THERE BILTONG REALLY IS GREAT TO SAY THE LEAST !

We buy in a huge amount of biltong for our corporate funtions and after the feedback from our clients, the responce was rather amusing.

Where did you Guy’s egt this biltong, TRUELY AMAZING ! GREAT BILTONG !

Need i say more, wehave now found our future supplier.

That is what i would recommend they call themselves.

Biltong to die for, really the Best In The West !

I see that they are really on the expand.

One shop @ the Piazza Centre Parklands.
Second shop @ Parow Centre in the foodcourt.
Third shop @ Blue Route Mall Tokai.
Fourth shop @ Checkers Burgandy Shopping Centre opposite Richwood recently opened.

With a further three shops geared for opening next year, well done go for it. the Cape is in for a storm of the best biltong taking over the OLD !

Congrats it’s high time.

I am completing my certificate in Food Preparation and Cooking, which is a 3 year intensive Chef course internationally recognized (City & Guilds). I am extremely dedicated in this field as cooking is my life long passion! I would love to get the opportunity to be able to work in the pastry department, but I do understand if I would be needed else where and I have no problem to adapt in any department. I am ambitious and highly motivated to become multi-skilled. My work ethics is of the highest standard and I am willing to work very hard and go the extra mile! I am a quick learner who likes challenges and also have the initiative to work well on my own. I plan and organize well as an individual or as part of a team. I am convinced that I would be a great asset to any company! I would lastly like to thank you for your time and hope you would consider me as part of your team. I also have done practical training in 2008 at Kelvin Grove Newlands and did on the 24 August 2009 with my second part of training at the Westin Grand Arabella Quays hotel in Cape Town.
I’m currently busy with my 3 and final year that consist od advance deploma in patisserie studies andadvance diploma in culinary arts, that ends on 1 December 2009.

Biltong and braai in Mossel bay has got some issus, ok biltong but Not hygenic at all. Bare hands that come strate out of the till. Hope the owner clears it up.. Then he always shouts at the staff while there would be customers in the shop. Just not good for it. Please clean it up,use gloves and wash you hands
